Q: Is a Celebrant-led ceremony legally binding?
A:  No! 

In England and Wales, you’ll need to complete the legal marriage separately at a Register Office, in the presence of a registrar and two

witnesses. Many couples do this first, then enjoy their personalised Celebrant-led ceremony with family and friends 

at a time and place that suits them.

Q:  Where can we have our ceremony if we choose a Celebrant?

A:   Almost anywhere!  

Your ceremony does not have to be held in a licenced premises, as it would with a registrar.  So, whether you choose the comfort of your own home, a country barn or on a barge, to the grand hotel or stately home,  your options are endless, let's discuss your ideas!

Q:  How do we book and secure your services? 

A:  Simply click on the enquiry link and complete the short form with your basic details.

We’ll then arrange an initial, no-obligation meeting, ideally in person or via Zoom.  When you decide to go ahead, I’ll send you a contract. 

Once agreed a small deposit will be required to secure your date. This confirms your booking and goes towards your overall ceremony price.

Q:  What happens next?

A:  This is the exciting part — we get to know each other!

This gives me the opportunity to hear your story, understand your vision for the day, and explore what you’re hoping your ceremony will feel like.  From there, I’ll guide you through the next steps and provide a clear timeline so you know exactly what to expect.

A:  Your privacy matters greatly. 

I only collect the information you give to me to respond to enquiries and provide my Celebrant services.

I will never sell or share your information without your consent, except where needed to deliver my services or by law.  

Your details will be stored securely and you can ask to view, update or delete them anytime.
